Hayley Braun, MS, OTRL
I am a licensed occupational therapist in the state of Michigan, as well as a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association. I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science in 2019 and a Master's degree in Occupational Science and Therapy in 2022. I gained experience in an outpatient pediatric therapy clinic in Grand Haven following graduation.
I strive to provide families with individualistic treatment plans that allow their children to achieve their maximum potential in activities of daily living, play, academics, and socialization. I have experience working with children with autism, Down syndrome, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, gross and fine motor impairments, cerebral palsy, and cognitive impairments.
I have received training in the SOS Feeding Approach, Beckman Oral Motor, Kelly Mahler's Interoception Curriculum, and DIR Floortime. I hope to gain more knowledge through continuing education in the areas of visual perception, sensory integration, and neurodevelopment.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, running outdoors, doing puzzles, playing with my cats, and spending time with my 2-year-old nephew.

My two kids were in OT with Mrs Hayley, we wouldn’t have been able to make it through our tough chapter in life without Mrs Hayley. My kids grew to love Mrs Hay Hay! They still ask about her all the time. My daughter went from not jumping onto or off of things to doing all of the jumping by the time we were discharged! She was terrified of loud noises, and did not like a lot of textured things. But again by the end of treatment she was doing everything she wouldn’t before! Mrs Hayley is very personal with kids and helps them to feel comfortable with things. Even on my kids bad days, she didn’t give up on them and gave them options on how to continue. I will forever be thankful for Hayley!!

My daughter has been seeing Miss Hayley for a little over a year now for autism spectrum disorder and the strides she has made while working with Miss Hayley have been absolutely incredible! She is a completely different child in the best possible way. Miss Hayley has helped us to discover things about our daughter that we didn't even realize. She has learned emotion regulation, sensory processing, and is currently working through food school. Every session our girl is laughing and smiling, and the connection she made with Miss Hayley was instant! The difference that Miss Hayley has made in our life, especially our daughters, will last a lifetime.
